This incredible gown has a small hoop, a silk liner, a petticoat, and a generous amount of satin silk. A rose toned satin silk surrounded by antique collared silk gauze splashes down over the duchess satin. This pattern repeats itself six times around the skirt, each time it is pulled up in the middle with a two toned silk rose placed on top of the crevice. Beautiful soft lace peeks out in abundance between the folds. All the stitching has been done by hand to achieve the desired perfection.
The rosebuds are made using the satin, chiffon and lace that is used on the gown, resulting in soft and delicate buds which compliment the gown. The close-up of the side lace-up detail shows one of the intricate elements of this extraordinary gown.
